My natural dye experiments that will leave you green with envy. Check out my green dye experiment, the magic of nature.

In September 2018, I did a series of natural dye experiments using plants from my back yard, and some of the results were truly spectacular and real eye opening. These experiments have made me closer to nature and never look at any plant the same again, they always make me wonder when looking at any plant now “what color would it produce?”

After years of researching and learning, and I have also heard that although the majority of plants have green leaves, but green is actually the most difficult color to achieve from nature.

Achieving this color was purely by chance, never new that Virginia Creeper will produce such intense lime green, deep almost electric on silk. FOR ME THIS IS TRULY MAGIC OF NATURE!!
